Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved the charge sheet against BNP's former Textile and Jute Minister Shahjahan Siraj.
The Commission has found evidence of Shahjahan Siraj's involvement in misappropriating around Tk 20 million by selling a land of Bangladesh Jute Corporation's land in Kishoreganj.
Shahjahan Siraj and Land Buyer Md. Awlad Hossain embezzled this money together, ACC sources said.
ACC Deputy Director Farid Ahmed Patwari filed a case with the Shahbagh Police on Nov 2, 2016 regarding the issue.
