A legal notice has sought the withdrawal of the official order setting up the special court hearing the Zia Charitable Trust graft case inside the old jailhouse in Dhaka.
The notice by Supreme Court lawyer Nawshad Zamir gave a deadline of three days to withdraw the order or else stated to initiate legal measures.
The law secretary has been asked to respond in the legal notice sent to the ministry on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the law ministry issued the gazette notification, which the BNP describes as a violation of the Constitution.
