A court in Dhaka has rescheduled the date for filing the investigation report over the attempted assault at security post in Dhaka.
On Sunday (Apr 1), police was scheduled to file the probe report with a metropolitan magistrate court, but it was rescheduled to May 8 as the investigation officer did not submit it, according to Sub Inspector Ashraf Islam of the Khilagon police.
Early morning on Mar 18 last year, a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) checkpost at the capital’s Khilgaon foiled a possible suicide bombing, killing the suspected attacker.
A motorcycle-borne man tried to intrude into the checkpost when the RAB personnel opened fire.
Officials later said the attacker was carrying explosives on his body.
