The government has decided to incorporate about 3,000 teachers and officials, who graduated from defunct Darul Ehsan University, into a monthly pay order (MPO) system.
The education ministry Tuesday sent an instruction to the Secondary and Higher Secondary Directorate in this regard.
Additional Secretary of the ministry Zaved Ahmed told Bangla Tribune, “Now about 3,000 teachers and officials will be allowed to be under the MPO system.”
High Court in 2016 closed down the university but it did not cancel the certificates it gave.
After the verdict, the university graduates faced problems in enrolling them in the MPO system, but now it has been resolved.
