Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-3) detained a drug dealer with 18kg’s of hemp in his possession from West Hazipara in the Capital on Thursday.
The drug-peddler was identified as Md Hasan, 36.
Senior Assistant Director (Operation Officer) RAB-3 ASM Sakhawat Hossain told Bangla Tribune on Friday that they conducted the raid on a tip off and the confiscated drug is almost worth Tk. 1,80,000.
“Legal actions are in progress”, he added.
