Students’ demonstration continues in capital on Saturday (Aug 4).Student protesters have returned to the streets in Dhaka for the seventh straight day braving rains and demanding safe roads.
Demonstrations are being held in at least 20 locations across Dhaka with students regulating traffic, checking documents of drivers and vehicles as part of their campaign for safer roads.

Around 1,000 students have gathered on the Manik Mia Avenue in front of the National Parliament, when they formed a human chain with placards in hands and raising slogans. They also continued to regulate traffic.

Protests have been reported from the capital’s northern end of Uttara, where students have been demonstrating on the road amid heavy police presence.
