The government has extended the office shutdown period to Apr 11 in order to contain the coronavirus spread in Bangladesh.
On Tuesday (Mar 31), the Public Administration ministry took the initiative to extend the shutdown which was initially till Apr 4, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain told Bangla Tribune.
The shutdown will officially be till Apr 9 with it extending till Apr 11 due to a weekend, he said before adding that the official order will be issued soon.
