Govt to bring back citizens stranded in India

The foreign ministry has initiated the process to bring back Bangladeshi citizens who are stranded in coronavirus-hit India as the country has suspened all modes of travel.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mohammed Shahriar Alam wrote in a Facebook post, “We have made a list [of stuck Bangladeshi citizens in India] through our high commission. Those, who are yet to report, are requested to inform the number of people together, location, names, passport IDs and contact numbers to Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi.
“We have found out that some Bangladeshi people are stuck there [India] and facing trouble," he wrote.
“We will ask the local administration to look after you till we bring you back," he added.
The state minister also mentioned the condition of staying in 14-day-quarantine at Kurmitola or other hospitals for sick people and Ashkona Haji Camp for other returnees.
He also noted the contact of Bangladesh mission in Delhi: 85955-52494 and Mumbai consulate: 9833159930.
