Five more test positive, virus cases rise to 44

Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) chief Meerjady Sabrina announced the new development in an online media briefing on Thursday (Mar 26).
One out of the infected recently returned from abroad and came in contact with three others.
Two of the infected are aged between 30 to 40, two others between 41 to 50 and one of them is above 60.
So far, 11 patients, who earlier tested Covid-19 positive, have returned home after full recovery taking the number of active cases in the country at 33.
Dr Flora also said 126 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of samples tested to 920.
On Wednesday (Mar 25), the IEDCR confirmed that till now five people have died of COVID-19 infection in Bangladesh.
