Voting to Chattogram City Corporation will be held on Mar 29 along with the Bogura-1 and Jashore-6 by-polls.
Election Commission Secretary Md Alamgir Hossain announced the polls schedule on Sunday (Feb 16).
The city polls will be held through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the by-polls to Bogura-1 and Jashore-6 through traditional ballot papers.
According to the schedule, the last day to file nomination is Feb 27. The nominations will be scrutinised on Mar 29. The candidates can challenge cancellation of nominations from Apr 2 to Apr 4 while the last day to drop out of the race is Mar 8. The Commission will allocate polls symbol on Mar 9.
