The government will host a public reception for the under-19 national cricket team to celebrate their historic victory in the world cup finals.
The decision came at the weekly cabinet meeting on Monday (Feb 10), senior Cabinet member Obaidul Quader told the media at the Secretariat.
“The date will be fixed after the team returns. Suhrawardy Udyan has been chosen as the venue for the reception,” he said.
The Young Tigers beat their Indian counterparts to win the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Potchefstroom on Sunday (Feb 9).
