Dainik Sangram’s DFP media enlistment cancelled

The Department of Films and Publications (DFP) has cancelled the media enlistment of the Daily Sangram.
The authorities took the decision as the mouthpiece of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, on Dec 12, 2019, published a report describing executed war criminal Jamaat-e-Islami leader Abdul Quader Mollah as ‘martyr’, said a DFP handout on Thursday (Jan 23).
On Dec 12, 2013, Qader Mollah alias “Butcher of Mirpur" was executed for his crimes against humanity including the massacre of unarmed civilians and the killing of intellectuals committed during the War of Independence in 1971.
