Dry weather likely across country

The met office predicts the weather across the country to remain dry in the next 24 hours.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning, it may continue till afternoon at places,” said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department bulletin on Sunday (Jan 12).
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Ishwardi, Kurigram, Panchagarh and Kushtia regions, it added.
However, the night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted that the temperature may rise at the end period.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 25.8 degree Celsius in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf while the minimum temperature is 9.5 degree Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur district.
