All examinees from as many as 67,893 educational institutions across Bangladesh cleared the Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations.
No one from 341 educational institutions passed the exams this year.
On the other hand, all examinees from 11,308 madrasas have cleared the Ebtedayee exams with another 40 institutions saw a zero percent pass rate.
The figures were revealed after State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain presented summaries of the results before the media at his office in Dhaka on Tuesday (Dec 31).
This year, the success rate in PEC and Ebtedayee exams have stood at 95.5 percent and 95.96 percent respectively.
A total of 2,454,151 students took part in the PEC examination this year, of which 23,43,743 examinees passed
As many as 304,178 examinees appeared Ebtedayee examinations this year with that of 291,875 students coming out successful.
A total of 326,088 students got GPA-5 in the PEC examination this year while 11,877 students got GPA-5 in Ebtedayee exams.
