The Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations for more than two hundred expelled students have been announced on Sunday (Dec 22).
The Directorate of Primary Education has scheduled the retake exams for Dec 24, 26 and 28 following a High Court order.
The notice has been forwarded to director general of National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE).
The fifth graders will undertake the English and Science examinations on Dec 24, the Bangla and Bangladesh Affairs examinations on Dec 26, the Mathematics and Religion, Moral Education examinations on Dec 28.
For Ebtedayee exam candidates, the English and Arabic test scheduled for Dec 24, Bangla and Bangladesh Affairs for Dec 26, Mathematics and Quran Studies for Dec 28.
On Dec 18, the High Court ordered the authorities to arrange retakes for the expelled students by Dec 28 and publish the results by Dec 31.
