PSC, equivalent exam begins

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2019 has begun across the country on Nov 17.The Primary School Certificate (PSC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee Examinations-2019 has begun across the country with 29,03,638 examinees.
The examination started at 10 am on Sunday (Nov 17) at the 7,470 centres amongst which 12 are abroad.
As many as 25,53,267 examinees are appearing at the PSC examinations while 350,371 students are participating in Ebtedayee examinations this year.
The authorities concerned have taken adequate measures to hold the examinations peacefully.
Among the PSC examinees, 11,81,300 are male and 13,71,967 female while 350,371 Ebtedayee examinees consist of 187,082 male candidates and 163,289 female.
The examinations will continue till November 24.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and Directorate of Primary Education have also opened an examination control room to conduct the examinations in a congenial atmosphere.
