A 14-member Indian delegation paid a courtesy call on Information Minister Hasan Mahmud at the latter's official residence in Dhaka on Saturday (Nov 2).
Led by Speaker of the Indian state of Tripura's Legislative Assembly Rebati Mohan Das, the delegation also included Tripura Assembly Member Ashish Kumar Saha and Agartala Press Club Secretary Pranab Sarkar, said a statement.
During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed issues of bilateral interest and expressed identical views of continuing mutual co-operation to strengthen the existing friendship between the two countries.
The delegation recalled Hasan's visit to Agartala in mid-September this year for inauguration of 1st Bangladesh Film Festival where he had a meeting with Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
Arranged by a Bangladesh-India friendship alliance 'Sampreeti', the Indian delegation arrived in the capital on Nov 1 on a three-day visit.
