JSC, JDC exams kick off

Education Minister Dipu Moni visits Zinzira PM Pilot High School of Keraniganj in Dhaka on Saturday (Nov 2)Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations-2019 begin across the country on Saturday (Nov 2) with the participation of 26, 61,682 examinees.
The exams begin at 10am and it will continue till 1pm.
Education Minister Dipu Moni has visited Zinzira PM Pilot High School of Keraniganj and has a talk with examines and their guardians outside the examination centre.
The JSC examinees are taking ‘Bengali’ exam and for JDC examinees are taking ‘Quran Mazid and Tasbid’ on the first day.
A total of 8,651 examinees have decreased in the JSC and JDC examinations this year compared to the last year as 26,70,333 candidates took part in 2018.
A total of 454 students from nine overseas centres are appearing in the JSC examinations.
The overseas centres are Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, Tripoli, Doha, Saham, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The JSC and JDC examinations will end on Nov 11.
