The copies of the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams of 2018 have been handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copies to the premier at 10am on Thursday.
Public Relation Officer of education ministry Afrazur Rahman said this to the media.
Nahid will later officially announce the results at a press conference at the secretariat at 1pm.
This year’s exams were held between Apr 2 and May 23.
A total of 13, 11, 457 students took exams this year from eight education boards, and madrasa and technical boards.
Besides, 299 examinees appeared in the foreign test centres.
