The charge sheet for the murder of slain Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad will be prepared soon, said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan.
“We have identified those who killed Fahad through the CCTV footage,” he said while addressing a media call on Thursday (Oct 10).
He added that if anyone other than the 14 arrested so far are found to be involved, then they’ll be arrested as well.
“The dormitories of the universities will soon be searched after speaking with the respective vice chancellors. Our intelligence units are also working with the university dormitories,” he said.
Responding to queries on the room where Abrar was tortured belonging to Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Amit Saha, he said, “That student was home for puja holidays. But Amit Shaha isn’t a factor. Anyone involved will be brought to book.”
