Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hinted at buying two more Boeing aircrafts for national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh.
“Apart from the existing aircraft, three Dash Bombardier planes will be added to the Biman fleet,” she said on Tuesday (Sept 17), during the inauguration of Biman’s fourth Dreamliner, reports BSS.
“We’ve also got news that Boeing is interested to sell two aircrafts soon, the order of which was canceled by somebody else… we’ll take this opportunity,” she added.
Shesaid the country’s foreign currency reserve is in a good position and there will be no problem with purchasing the two new aircrafts.
During her address as the chief guest, the premier asked the authorities of the national flag carrier to work with honesty and sincerity to ensure quality passenger services.
