The fourth session of the 11th parliament will begin at 5pm on Sunday (Sept 8).
Prior to the session, parliament's business advisory committee will sit to fix the session’s duration and proceedings with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, according to Parliament Secretariat sources.
Several bills are likely to be placed during the fourth session, which may last for a week, the sources added.
Earlier on Aug 21, President Abdul Hamid summoned the session exercising the power bestowed upon him as per Article 72(1) of the Constitution.
The last session of the parliament, which was the budget session for 2019-20 fiscal, began on Jun 11 and continued till Jul 11.
