Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrive Dhaka on a three-day official visit on Monday (Aug 19).
Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen received his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar at the VIP Lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
According to BSS, the Indian External Affairs Minister will visit the Bangabandhu Museum in Dhanmondi Road No 32 in the morning of Aug 20 to pay respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Both Dr A K Abdul Momen and S Jaishankar will hold a bilateral meeting at the State Guest House Jamuna at 11 am on Tuesday (Aug 20).
S Jaishankar is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the same day.
It will be the S Jaishankar’s first Bangladesh visit after taking the oath to office in Narendra Modi’s cabinet on May 30.
