The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams will be published on Jul 19.
The education ministry’s Inter-board Coordination Sub-committee Convener Professor Ziaul Hque confirmed the date.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid along with chairmen of all education boards will hand over copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10am.
Nahid will later officially announce the results at a press conference at the Secretariat at 1pm.
Students will be able to know their results after 2pm.
More than 1.3 million students – 692,730 male and 618,727 female appeared in this year’s exams under eleven education boards including madarasa and vocational boards.
Started on Apr 2, the written tests concluded on May 13 with the theoretical tests holding between May 14 and 23 May at 2,541 centres in Bangladesh and abroad.
299 students – 159 male and 140 female sat for the test at seven centres aboard.
