A flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar is underway where both the parties are discussing about Rohingya issue.

BGB souces said the agenda includes information sharing, joint patrolling, countering yaba smuggling, border situation and other relevant issues.

The meeting has started in Cox’s Bazar BGB regional office in the afternoon.

Bangladesh side is being led by Cox’s Bazar regional commander Brig General SM Rakibullah and Myanmar side by Moundu regional commander Brig General Myint Toe.
