Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home from London concluding her 10-day official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the prime minister and her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 9:55am on Saturday (May 11), reports state news agency BSS.
The flight took off from the Heathrow International Airport in London for Dhaka at 6:35pm (BdST) on Friday (May 10).
Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Saida Muna Tasneem was present to see the prime minister off at the airport.
The premier went to London on May 1.
Earlier on Thursday (May 9), the prime minister attended a view-exchange meeting organised by the United Kingdom (UK) chapter of Bangladesh Awami League and its associate bodies at Taj Hotel in London.
