The High Court has pulled up the Hotel InterContinental for charging exorbitant prices for soft drinks.
On Sunday (May 5), the bench of Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir questioned how the 5-star hotel charges Tk 160 for a can of ‘Sprite’, which retails at Tk 40.
The authorities of hotel have been ordered to come up with an explanation by May 12.
