Padma Multipurpose Bridge and nine other projects have been placed before the prime minister, seeking maximum importance, said Finance minister, AMA Muhith.
Muhith made this comment while announcing the national budget for the fiscal year 2018-19 on Thursday.
The other nine projects are Metro rail, Rooppur nuclear power plant, Rampal power plant, Payra sea-port, Matarbari power plant, Padma bridge rail link, Sonadia deep-sea port, Dohazari-Cox’s Bazar-Gundum rail link and Moheshkhali floating LNG terminal.

The government prioritised ten projects as ‘mega development fast-track projects.’
The finance minister also said that with the prime minister as chair, a fast track projects monitoring cell is operational to accelerate the working pace.
