The second session of the 11th National Parliament will convene on Apr 24.

President Md Abdul Hamid on Wednesday (Apr 3) convened the session exercising the power bestowed upon him as per the Constitution.

This session will be a week long, according to a statement from the Parliament Secretariat. After this session ends, the next one will be the budget in June.

The duration and proceedings of the first session of the parliament ended on 11 March. There is a procedural requirement in the constitution about two sessions of parliament should not exceed sixty days in between.
