Five out of the 13 posts, including the vice-president, general secretary, have been clinched by independent aspirants at Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall students' union at the Dhaka University.
The result for this hall shows five of the seven candidates, who formed the independent panel, won the posts they contested.
Sushmita Kundu has emerged the as the vice president of the Hall union while Sagufta Bushra became the General Secretary.
Polls at Maitree Hall opened over three hours behind schedule after sacks of filled ballot papers were found and led to the suspension of voting.
Authorities relieved provost and election presiding officer Department of Management Prof Dr Shabnam Jahan and replaced her with Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies Prof Mahbuba Nasreen.
A four-member panel will be formed to investigate the incident, the university authorities said.
