The Bangladesh Railway would begin advance tickets sale from Jun 1 to ensure hassle-free journey for the home-bound passengers from the capital.
The advance ticket sale will continue till Jun 6.
All the tickets would be sold at Dhaka's Kamalapur and Chittagong railway stations from 8:00 am. A person would be allowed to buy maximum four tickets.
Railway Minister Mujibul Huq disclosed the information Thursday at a press conference organised at Rail Bhaban in the capital.
The minister said tickets for Jun 10 to Jun 16 will be sold from Jun 1 to Jun 6. Ticket for Jun 10 will be sold on Jun 1, tickets for Jun 11 on Jun 2, tickets for Jun 12 on Jun 3, tickets for Jun 13 on Jun 4, tickets for Jun 14 on Jun 5, and tickets for Jun 15 will be sold on Jun 6. Ticket selling will start at 8:00 am every day.”
Tickets for returning to the capital will be sold from Jun 10-15. Tickets for Jun 19-24 will be sold during this period.
Railway tickets for Jun 19 on Jun 10, tickets for Jun 20 on Jun 11, tickets for Jun 21 on Jun 12, tickets for Jun 22 on Jun 13, m tickets for Jun 23 on Jun 14 and tickets for Jun 24 on Jun 15.
A person would not be allowed to buy more than four tickets at a time.
