The Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) has suspended a security person over film actor Ilias Kanchan’s pistol revelation at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
CAAB said that Fazlur Rahman was suspended on Wednesday (Mar 6) noon.
It added that a three-member probe committee has been formed over the matter.
On Tuesday (Mar 5) afternoon, Chairman of Safe Road Movement and film actor Ilias Kanchan, came to the domestic terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal Airport. Going to the Novo Air booking counter, Kanchan declared that he is carrying a 9mm pistol and ten rounds of bullets which were not caught in the airport scanning.
