Under the influence of frequent thunderstorm activity, squally weather likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining areas, a Met office bulletin said on Wednesday (Feb 27).

The met office advised maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Mongla to keep hoist local cautionary signal number three, in a scale of 10.

“All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice,” the bulletin said.
