Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has appointed Ferdous Ahmed Khan and Shah Ali Farhad as her special assistants.

Official circular of the appointments, which were made on Wednesday (Jan 23), is still in the process of being issued, according to sources at the prime minister’s office.

Khan has served in the same post during Hasina’s last tenure.

Farhad has been working as a senior analyst at the Awami League’s research wing Center for Research and Information (CRI)

Thanking the prime minister for the appointment, Farhad, in a facebook post, sought everyone’s support to successfully carry out the responsibilities pertaining to the post.
