The second Bangladesh Envoy Conference will be held in Dhaka in April to give directives to Bangladeshi ambassadors about the government plan to engage with foreign countries.
“We are planning to have four-day conference beginning from Pohela Boishak (Apr 14),” said an official.
The new government is formulating its foreign policy plans and it wants to execute it as soon as possible.
The top political leadership will give the directives, he said.
The conference will more or less follow the previous format, he added.

The first envoy conference was held in November 2017 and the inaugural session was attended by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and she also had a close-door session.

There were five separates session on different themes that include Rohingya, development and consular.
