BNP has alleged its candidate for Dhaka-4 constituency Salahuddin Ahmed was attacked by Jatiya Party supporters while he was going to cast his ballot on Sunday (Dec 30).
“Supporters of the plough symbol attacked my father as soon as he went to cast his franchises at Shyampur Government Model School and College in Dhaka,” said Robin, son of Salahuddin Ahmed.
“He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital,” added Robin.
BNP has alleged that the supporters are kicked its party agents out from the polling stations.
It has been observed that the voter turnout is very low at different polling centres of the constituency.
