Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina has left the capital for Gopalganj to start her campaign for 11th Parliamentary Election due on Dec 30.
Sheikh Hasina and her entourage left her official Ganabhaban residence for Tungipara by road at 8am on Wednesday (Dec 12).
Hasina will start the campaign by placing a wreath at the mazar of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungiupara at 12:30pm, official source said.
The AL president then will address a public rally at the Sheikh Lutfar Rahman Government Degree College ground at Kotalipara in the district at 2:30pm.
On Dec 13, on her way back to Dhaka, the AL president will join rallies and election campaign at Faridpur’s Bhanga and Faridpur intersection, Rajbari intersection, Paturia ferry ghat area, Manikganj bus stand, Rabeya Medical College Hospital ground and Savar bus stand in Dhaka.
