The wait of more than two million students, who took this year’s school-leaving public exams, ends on Sunday.
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Sunday (May 6), Convener of the Inter-education Board Coordination Subcommittee Ziaul Haque told Bangla Tribune.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand a summary of the exam results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Ganabhaban around 10am.
Nahid will then brief the media in the ministry at 1pm to highlight the key features, following which individual results will be available.
Results will be available online, through mobile phone SMSs as well as at schools after 2pm.
As many as 2,031,889 students took this year’s exams under eight education boards.
The success rate last year stood at over 80 percent with 104,761 students scoring a GPA of 5.0.
