The holy Akheri Chahar Shamba, an important day for the Musllims, will be observed across the country on Wednesday (Nov 7), marking the recovery of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM) from his prolonged illness.
To mark the day, Islamic Foundation will organise a Milad and Doa Mahfil at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Asr prayers on Wednesday, a spokesman of the Religious Affairs Ministry told BSS.
General Secretary of Khaitib Council Maulana Jahirul Islam Miah Mostakim will deliver his speech on the occasion with Director General (DG) of Islamic Foundation Shamim Mohammad Afzal in the chair.
All educational institutions will remain closed on the day.
