Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to visit Mymensingh on Friday to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of 195 development projects in four districts of the division.

She will also address a public meeting to be organizing by the local Awami League at Circuit House ground during her stay in the district, reports BSS.

Centering the visit of the premier, a gleeful environment is prevailing in the area and the local people are eagerly waiting to see her. People of different professions are in a festive mood ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Local Awami League leaders are spending hectic time taking preparations for the public meeting in the city.

Marking visit, all out preparations including security measures have been taken in the city area.

City Corporation Administrator Ikramul Haque Bitu said all out preparations have been taken centering the visit of the Prime Minister.

Police Super Md Shah Abid Hossain said tight security measures have been taken marking the visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. A number of police in plain clothe will be deployed along with other law enforcers, he added.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had declared Mymensingh as the eight administrative division of the country on October 13 in 2015.
