Rain may continue till Tuesday

“Drizzle or rain has hit all over the country except Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions where sky remains cloudy,” Meteorologist of Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) Abdul Mannan said on Sunday (Oct 28).
The meteorologist said the situation may continue for the next two days.
River ports have been asked to hoist cautionary signal no. one, Mannan added.
Meanwhile, a BMD bulletin says, “Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind speed 45-60kph is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet, Mymensingh, Dhaka & Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna for the next 24 hours commencing at 9am on Sunday.”
Day temperature may fall by 2-3° Celsius and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Maximum 52 millimetres of rainfall was recorded in Sreemangal over the last 24 hours till 6am on Sunday.
Maximum temperature was at 34° Celsius in Sylhet and minimum at 16.2° Celsius in Tetulia during the same period.
