Dhaka South City Corporation‘s (DSCC) two-hour cleaning campaign has set a Guinness World Record.
Mayor of DSCC Sayeed Khokon received the acknowledgment certificate on Monday (Sept 24).
On Apr 13, the DSCC set a new record when as many as 15,304 people gathered for a cleaning campaign.
Under the campaign, the residents of Dhaka city cleaned the area between Golap Shah Mazar and Zero Point.
Last year, India’s Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) set the record as more than 5,000 people took part in a cleaning campaign.
