Medical board suggests BSMMU for Khaleda

Khaleda Zia (File Photo)The five member medical board has recommended that Khaleda Zia be admitted to a hospital which has specialist facilities and is capable of giving a holistic treatment, said director of BSMMU, Brig. Gen (retd) Abdullah Al Harun on Sunday afternoon while talking to the media.
The medical board has suggested that Khaleda Zia be admitted to the BSMMU.
A report on Khaleda Zia’s health was also submitted to the prison authority this afternoon.
The report says: “Khaleda Zia has been suffering from Rheumatic Arthritis for a long period along with pain on her left knee joint and back due to bone erosion.”
The report also states that BNP chairperson has allergy related complications on one of her eyes. The board has prescribed medicines after inspecting her.
The report advises Khaleda to be admitted to a specialised hospital which has all facilities.
However, the director of BSMMU Hospital did not specify the time within which she has to be hospitalised.
“We are ready to admit her to the BSMMU Hospital and give her the right treatment.”
