People have started to leave the city to enjoy their Eid with near and dear ones.
Passengers with their family members are seen thronging to Kamalapur rail station from the morning on Friday on the first day of their Eid vacation journey.
Kamalapur Station Manager Sitangshu Chakrabarti said, 59 trains would leave today throughout the day.
Till 10am, 16 trains have left with three schedule disruption, he said.
Khulna bound Sundarban Express and Dewanganj bound Teesta and Chilahati Neelsagor Express did not leave on time causing sufferings to the passengers.
Expressing his satisfaction, the station manager said, we hope that the passengers would travel in a disciplined manner and nobody would journey on the train roof or buffer.
“We added extra coaches considering the Eid rush in mind,” he said.
