On the official Facebook page of the embassy, it termed the ongoing demonstrations as ‘practicing democratic rights’ in a status posted on Sunday.
Two students were killed by a speeding bus which was on a race with another for passengers on Airport road on Jul 29.
Following the incident, a huge surge of students raised against the reckless driving and protestations for safe roads.
The status also denounced the incidents of senseless property destruction during the protest.
