West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh. File PhotoThe Indian government will send back 10 million Bangladeshi Muslims illegally living in West Bengal to implement the nationwide NRC, local media reported quoting ruling BJP's state chief Dilip Ghosh.
Addressing a party rally on Sunday (Jan 19), West Bengal BJP chief alleged that 10 million illegal Muslims in the state are "thriving" on the government's Rs 2 per kg subsidised rice, as per report run by Indian media outlet Outlook.
"These illegal Bangladeshi Muslims are involved in arsons across the state," he said before announcing, “We will send them back.”
"Those who are opposing the CAA are either anti-India or anti-Bengali," Outlook quoted Ghosh.
“They are against the idea of India that is why they are opposing Hindu refugees getting citizenship,” the Hindu nationalist leader said.
Ghosh said that he has no qualms in being branded communal for supporting the cause of Hindu refugees, who had to run for their life after being religiously persecuted.
