At least 26 passengers were killed and 16 others injured when a passenger bus rammed into a hill in Pakistan's northern Chilas district on Sunday (Sept 22) morning, reports Chinese news agency Xinhua citing local media reports.
Such road accidents are common in Pakistan where motorists largely disregard traffic rules and safety standards on battered roads. Last month a speeding bus fell off a mountainous road into a river in the northwest Pakistan, killing 24 passengers.
