Fresh restrictions were imposed on the Srinagar city and other parts of the Indian administered Kashmir as a preventive measure ahead of Friday congregational prayers, officials told Indian media outlet Deccan Chronicle.
Kashmiris have been ordered not to venture outside and barricades have been placed.
