Suicide attackers storm Chinese consulate in Pakistan: Insurgent group

At least two Pakistani policemen were killed and a security guard wounded during an attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi on Friday, a doctor told Reuters.
"We have two cops brought dead and security guard injured due to blast impact," said Seemin Jamali, a doctor at the Jinnah Hospital in Karachi.
Geo TV reported one gunman was killed in the attack and a "suicide vest" had been recovered.

It is unclear if any Chinese officials were harmed.
Three suspected attackers killed
Police said three suspected suicide bombers who attacked the Chinese consulate were also killed before they were able to enter the facility.
"There were three attackers and all three have been killed ... They could not even get in the compound. They tried to get into the visa section," the police chief, Amir Shaikh, told reporters.
Group claims responsibility
Three suicide attackers of a Pakistani insurgent group stormed the Chinese consulate in Karachi, a spokesman for the group told Reuters, claiming responsibility for the assault.
"There were three suicide attackers," Jiand Baloch of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which also describes itself as the Baloch Liberation Army, told Reuters by telephone.
"They stormed the Chinese embassy in Karachi. China is exploiting our resources."
