Former UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson is passing through a rough patch in his life. After resigning from prime-minister Theresa May’s cabinet over the Brexit row, upheavals have been reported in his personal life.

After reports emerged of his philandering, the conservative political maverick has been thrown out by his wife of 25 years, Marina Wheeler.

On Friday last, Ms. Wheeler said that they have been living separately for a long period. She also mentioned several illicit relations of Boris while married to her as the ground for divorce.

In a statement, the couple said: “after staying together for 25 years, we took the decision to live separately; we have thought of divorce which is now under process.

In the statement they also said that they will look after their four children and remain friends but will not live together.
